CYC Membership Benefit: Reciprocity

One of the great benefits to membership in the Corinthian Yacht Club of Bellingham is the partnership we have with dozens of other yacht clubs. That partnership allows members of one club to use facilities and participate in programs of another club. We call this a reciprocal partnership.

Your CYC membership allows you to moor your boat at many yacht clubs in the Salish Sea, when space is available. This reciprocal moorage is typically either free or for a nominal cost to the CYC member.

Be sure to read the requirements for the reciprocal moorage location that you will be visiting before you leave home. Some clubs require proof of insurance at a specified dollar minimum. Log in to the Yacht Destinations website for additional information.

CYC of Bellingham supports the Yacht Destinations website because it is the best source for CYC members looking for reciprocal moorage.

The CYC reciprocal list in the CYC membership roster is updated each year when the roster is printed.

However, clubs can change their reciprocity at any time during the year so the listing on the Yacht Destinations website can be more accurate than the roster because it can be updated by the reciprocal yacht clubs at any time. The website of each club as well as the harbormaster/boater contact for each location is your most up-to-date source of reciprocal information.
