Our season begins in mid-April as normal and if agreed on by the fleet, we'll have 4 series (5 races per series) with 1800 start times, In addition there will be 1 long distance (Saturday) race around Vendovi @ 1000 start time.
This year the CYC is inviting all BYC boats that have not previously raced on Thursdays with the CYC, to race in the CYC Thursday night series FREE of charge!!
The proposed schedule is:
Spring 1: April 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13
Spring 2: May 20, 27, June 3, 10, 17
Long Distance: June 26
Summer: June 24, July 1, 8, 15, 22
Fall: July 29, August 5, 12, 19, 26
The cost for racing is $45 for the complete Race Packet or $15 per individual series.
There will be a fleet meeting April 1 Locatiion TBA. At the meeting we’ll confirm the schedule and hand out entry forms along with the race packets.
In Addition the following BYC long distance races will be open to CYC members at no charge. For scoring purposes a current phrf certificate and waiver will be necessary.
